We are a group of teachers and students from the University of Amsterdam trying to innovate social sciences research.
Inspired by Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and crowdsourcing initiatives we are looking for ways to interpret data collaboratively with a crowd of people. We call this Massive Open Online Research (MOOR). In this project we are making a web-based researchtool with which a large number of people can contribute to research in social sciences. We explore the possibilities that working with the crowd gives us. This way we aim at transparent research in which the crowd formulates a research question, collects and interprets data and eventually finds new insights.
